Best Darn Tough Hiking Socks for 2020

Posted on September 27, 2019February 25, 2023 by Mark Berry

If you would have told me I’d be spending $21 on a single pair of socks, I would have told you to get out of my house.

My website and videos really stemmed from me wanting to test out budget products…mainly because I’m cheap and a penny pincher myself. So purchasing a pair of socks that cost that much kind of hurt my stomach.

At first I didn’t like them, and I think that was because of the price playing with my head. However after a few months of wearing them not just hiking, but to work, the gym or laying around the house they have become my favorite pair of socks. Go figure right?

SPECS FROM DARN TOUGH:

High Density Knit There are more stitches per inch, which means a more comfortable, durable, great fitting sock with no added bulk. Darn Tough’s signature knitting reinforces common wear zones for what will seem like trail magic all its own. Cushion Mid-level cushion density underfoot. A warm and ultra comfortable choice when conditions demand it. The cushion inside the sock is ready to rebound all day every day so you can hike longer and trek further. True Seamless Toe Using the latest generation of Italian knitting machines, Darn Tough is able to knit ultra-light yet extremely durable socks with and undetectable toe seam. The feature never noticed because there’s nothing to feel but bliss in your boot or trail runner. Ribbed Support Form fitting and designed to ensure a custom fit. Which means no slipping, no bunching, and no blisters. The smooth ribbed support for this Micro Crew height sock will keep you moving on which ever trail you choose.

They offer a lifetime guarantee. Thats when you know a company stand behind their product.

Not to mention these socks have a variety of different lengths and designs that make them look like normal socks and not the traditional bland white wool hiking socks.

I would totally recommend these socks for any serious hiker or anyone that wants their socks to last a long time.

Don’t take my word for it, order a pair for yourself and let me know how you like them.
