Outdoor Products Trekking Poles From Walmart

Posted on April 20, 2019March 17, 2022 by Mark Berry

Purpose: The main purpose of trekking poles are to help keep balance while hiking. They can help relieve knee pain while hiking down hill and take off pressure from the torso going up hill.

This brand of trekking poles can be found at Wal-Mart and Amazon. When I picked these up I was not expecting much mainly because these poles are under $30.

However my wife and myself each have a set of these and they have held up amazingly after two years.

The last big test that made me weary using these was the Alum Cave Trail in the Smoky Mountains. Constant up hill tough terrain. When you go up you have to come back down. I was not expecting much from these on such a tough trail. I let my daughter use mine and my wife used hers. Not a problem at all. They held up without any issue.

At the end of the day for the price i’m sticking with these poles. They are cheap, sturdy and doing the job.

If your budget is low, and you want a decent pair of trekking poles, then go for these. Otherwise, stay away, because these poles will fail during a more intense hike.

Have you had a bad experience with these?
