Wigwam Cool Lite Hiker Pro Socks Review

Posted on December 15, 2018January 4, 2019 by Mark Berry

The number one thing I have heard while hiking is “Take Care of Your Feet”. Heck!!! Lt. Dan even told that to Bubba and Forest Gump.

So I did some searching and decided to give these Wigwam Men’s Cool-Lite Hiker Pro Crew Socks a shot.

From the Manufacture

“Wigwam Hiker Socks are designed to keep feet dry with no blisters or odor, dries super-fast, has lightweight mesh instep for breathability, cushioned foot and seamless toe closure for comfort, crew height sock great for hiking or comfortable year-around casual use. “

Firstly I don’t have expensive boots. I don’t even have name brand boots at that matter and they are still fairly new. With that being said I notice a difference hiking around a local trail in the rain for about 30-35 min. My feet stayed dry and the cushion heel felt really good. The first thing I notice after 5 minutes of walking was how great my heels felt.

On another trip again it was pretty cold and wet out. Even walking on rocks near a waterfall. My foot slipped in the river and was soaked. I brushed it off and even hiked a new trail. I noticed just after about 3 minutes my foot wasn’t cold or wet at that matter. My shoe however was still wet. I even decided to wear these socks the rest of the evening while at home and felt great. Really impressed for sure.

Even wearing these around the house are feel great.

Overall I would recommend these to any serious or casual hiker.
